Remembering Troy McKenzie

SEPT 2026 · OUR PEOPLE

We were fortunate to have Troy McKenzie as a member of the Western Heavy Haul family. Troy was known for his strong work ethic, willingness to help, and determination to get the job done. Even while battling cancer, he continued to stop by, stay connected with the team, and do whatever he could to help. His determination and positive spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

When we said goodbye to Troy, fellow drivers and members of the trucking community were invited to join a semi-truck procession in his honor—a final tribute to a valued coworker and friend. Troy is deeply missed by our team. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, and we will remember him for his determination, generosity, and the time we were fortunate to share with him.
